The History of G.I. Joe ARAH #21 is an 80 page book on a 22 page comic with no words. In 1984, now the 40th anniversary, Larry Hama at Marvel Comics released what would become one of the most important comic books in all of comic book history (at least according to multiple rankings lists). Issue #21 Silent Interlude aka the "Silent Issue" is many important aspects to the entire G.I. Joe brand, but the introduction of the Snake Eyes vs/and Storm Shadow connection through a tattoo of the Arashikage Ninja Clan changed G.I. Joe forever. This book dives deep into the history of the making of the book, legendary in its own right, has biographies of all of the creators, many would go onto win Eisner Awards, it tracks all of the various variants, reprints homages and surrounding stories. Plus, it also tracks the history of the Hunt for the mysterious #21 2nd Printing, and presents the recently discovered conclusion.
